Extra fast action rods offer a high degree of tip sensitivity and offer faster power during hook set. Sometimes referred to as tip action or fast tip rods. Fast action is popular because it provides sensitivity for monitoring bites and can quickly load up for hook setting. Fast action bends in the top 20 30 of the rod and it is the most common action rating.

I use most all baits but probably use soft plastics such as worms and lizards the most. Is a moderate fast action between medium and fast. Slower action rods flex down into the butt section.
